Position: Project Manager, Microsoft Dynamics GP Implementations
Location: Los Gatos, CA
Description: Manage GP implementations from kickoff meeting through go-live. Three to five years project management experience required, as is experience with ERP software. Must have strong verbal and written communications skills. Knowledge of GP extremely helpful. Accounting background also helpful.
In this position you are an organizer, a leader, a diplomat, a communicator, and sometimes an arbitrator. You will have high visibility to all aspects of each project and will be the glue that ties it all together.
Job Experience: BA/BS required or relevant industry experience.

Position: ERP Applications Consultant, Dynamics GP
Location: Los Gatos, CA
Description: If you have an accounting degree or five years experience working in accounting and have worked with ERP software we're looking for you. We are certified by Microsoft to sell and implement Dynamics GP software (formerly known as Great Plains). Matthews Consulting has 18 years of experience working with accounting/distribution/manufacturing software. We need an energetic, hard-working and driven individual to join our team.
You will be part of a team of implementation specialists who work with a diverse group of clients. Travel to client sites is required, but is local and can be done in your own car. This is not a typical accounting job where you essentially do the same thing every day. This job is about client pressure to install, implement, train, and support a complex mid-market ERP solution. It is about knowing when to tackle a technical problem and when to ask another team member for help. It is about constantly growing in your knowledge and skill set. Your financial reward is based on your performance, not on how many hours you spend on the job.
You will have plenty of support from other team members but learning the software will be your responsibility. You will be given small tasks immediately and will be expected to take on larger tasks over time. You will also be required to attain certification.
Job Experience: Experience with ERP software, business software, Crystal Reports, and accounting is important. If you have used Great Plains you are a step ahead. If you have been an ERP consultant you are even more ahead, and if you have been a Great Plains Consultant we really want to talk with you. You must have a background in accounting. This is not an IT/IS/Systems position. It is an accounting/ERP position.
Other Desired Skills: The ability to learn Dynamics GP software on your own is a requirement. Experience with accounting software will make this more doable than if you have no experience. You have to be a good communicator in this position. You will work with other team members and clients daily. Documenting your work is required. A neat, clean appearance is vital since you will be meeting with clients

Position: Entry Level Applications Consultant, Dynamics GP

Matthews Consulting is searching for an entry level applications consultant to help implement Microsoft Dynamics software. You should have an accounting degree and be looking for a career in computerized accounting systems.

Position: Telemarketing Representative
Location: Los Gatos, CA
Description: Microsoft Certified consulting firm searching for person to perform cold calling from mailing list. The companies you will be calling have received a mailer describing our products and services. Your job is to find companies on that list that are interested in purchasing new software for their companies. You will receive training on our products and services. You should have at least one year of experience cold calling for technology products.
An enthusiastic, professional approach is required. You will be calling from our offices in Los Gatos. This is a contract position and can be anywhere from 20 to 40 hours a week. You will be in a comfortable setting with a friendly environment.
